Who is Leisa Goddard?

    Adoni Media’s Founder and Managing Director, Leisa Goddard, has more than 30 years of media experience and continues to appear on Australian television screens as a contributor on Sky News Australia.

    During her impressive media career, Leisa has worked for Ten, Nine, and Seven across programs including news, Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Project and as a senior reporter on Today Tonight and A Current Affair.

    As a PR executive, Leisa’s media experience means she understands how newsrooms work, the editorial considerations in setting news agendas, and what is required when responding to the media.

    Before starting Adoni Media, Leisa worked across Australia and around the world.

    She is one of Australia’s most experienced journalists with her work highlighting social issues, such as youth homelessness, recognised by the United Nations.

    In 2010, she was a Logie finalist for reporting while under Taliban rocket attack as a war correspondent in Afghanistan.

    Leisa has been on the frontline of conflict, terror attacks, natural disasters, world politics, and human atrocities. In 2005, she covered the London bombings and during President George W Bush’s second term was Network Ten’s U.S. Bureau Chief.

    From her base in Los Angeles, Leisa travelled America covering major events from political news out of the White House to Hurricane Katrina, the Oscars, and interviewing world leaders and movie stars.

    Her work in journalism has seen her experience the best and worst in crisis management, event planning and media management, which gives her and Adoni’s clients an advantage in promoting and protecting their brand and reputation.

    Leisa founded Adoni in 2012 with the PR agency now having offices in Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth and consultants around Australia.
