How Adoni Media delivered national cut-through in October: PR, Media Training & Crisis Support

October flew by in a blur of busy news cycles, live interviews, tight deadlines and media opportunities – the kind of pace where strong public relations really comes to life.

For our team, it meant seamlessly moving between campaign launches, media training sessions, live interviews and behind-the-scenes support, often within the same day.

It was busy and fast-paced in the best possible way, resulting in strong national coverage, confident and well-prepared spokespeople, and meaningful outcomes across a wide range of industries.

    October results at a glance

    • 17 public relations campaigns delivered
    • 99 online stories, 87 radio mentions, and multiple TV news features
    • 10 newspaper articles and one magazine feature
    • Two Video News Release (VNR) filming sessions completed
    • Three media training programs delivered
    • Ongoing crisis communications support for clients

What truly stood out wasn’t just the volume of coverage, but the breadth of stories we helped share – from national sporting events and leadership conversations to trusted property data journalists rely on quarter after quarter.

    Client Highlights

    Veteran Games

The Veteran Games Gold Coast Finals was a standout moment in October. The weekend began with a live Sunrise cross featuring Founder Heston Russell, setting the tone for a day of strong national coverage.

From there, stories rolled out across Seven News nationally, WIN News Queensland, radio, print and online. The campaign reached 2.5 million Australians, delivering 19 TV stories, 35 radio features, five newspaper articles, 20 online stories and two podcast episodes, with an advertising value exceeding $640,000.

Most importantly, the coverage helped shine a light on the incredible work of Veteran Support Force and the Veteran Games, and the community they continue to build.

    Compono

Compono’s Australia’s Worst Boss campaign continued to gain momentum in October with the announcement of the national winner. The campaign struck a nerve because it tackled issues many Australians recognise – leadership, workplace culture and accountability.

Coverage spanned breakfast television, a live in-studio interview on Nine News Sydney, and extensive reporting across News Corp, Nine and ABC platforms.

In total, the campaign delivered 112 media stories, reached nearly five million Australians, and generated more than $802,000 in advertising value, sparking genuine conversation well beyond the headlines.

    InfoTrack

There’s one thing journalists can always rely on, and it’s property data that tells a clear story. InfoTrack’s latest Property Market Update did exactly that, reinforcing the brand’s position as a trusted voice in real estate.

Head of Property Lee Bailie featured across TV, radio, print and online, with the campaign delivering more than 50 radio stories alone and reaching an audience of over one million Australians.

Consistency, credibility and preparation continued to pay off.

    Media Training

While our PR team was securing coverage, our Media Training team was just as busy.

In October, Managing Director Leisa Goddard and Senior Media Trainer Jane Henschke delivered three intensive media training programs across two states, including in-studio sessions with working TV cameras and professional crews.

More than 10 leaders took part, gaining practical experience, sharper messaging and greater confidence.

With decades of combined experience as journalists, correspondents, news executives and crisis communications specialists, the sessions were hands-on, realistic and designed to prepare participants for real media pressure.
