Leisa Goddard hosts charity lunch with Alfie Langer
On Friday 20th September, Adoni Media Founder and Managing Director Leisa Goddard will again host the annual HELP enterprises Charity Lunch as they hope to break the $159,600 fundraising record set last year and this year she’s sharing the stage with Rugby League legend Allan ‘Alfie’ Langer.
HELP Enterprises works to enhance the lifestyle and independence of people living with disability by helping provide employment opportunities for people who may otherwise not have a job. HELP also funds programs to help improve the quality of life for adults and children including a therapeutic equestrian centre in Brisbane’s west called the McIntyre Centre.
Adoni Media is proud to say HELP Enterprises is a client and wherever possible our team not only works to earn them well-deserved media coverage, but we support their fundraising events.
This year, part of the money raised will go towards providing another 20 children the opportunity to participate in weekly therapeutic horse-riding sessions at the McIntyre Centre for an entire year.
Already since last year’s charity lunch major work has been completed at the McIntyre Centre including a new barn and upgraded equestrian ring.
“HELP Enterprises has so many great untold stories and quiet achievers who are quite literally changing people’s lives that it is an honour to work with them and help support their fundraising efforts so that they can help even more people who live each day with a disability,” Leisa said.
