MAS Architecture Studio is a Queensland-based firm renowned for creating meaningful spaces that embody refined luxury. When Adoni Media first partnered with MAS, we took the time to understand what made MAS unique – and how we could translate that into media opportunities that felt authentic and engaging. Two things stood out.

First, MAS’s work spans multiple cities and regions across Queensland. This geographic diversity meant we could tell different stories to different audiences – local publications could focus on community impact, while national outlets could explore broader housing trends and innovations.

Second, Founder and Managing Director Nick Symonds brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the table. With Australia’s ongoing housing crisis dominating headlines, the media is seeking credible voices who can offer both technical expertise and practical solutions. Symonds’s knowledge has positioned him as the credible and timely voice that journalists are looking for.

By combining localised media angles with broader commentary on national housing issues, we developed a content strategy that was newsworthy, and most importantly – effective.

THE RESULTS

Each of our campaigns with MAS Architecture has proven widely successful, generating more than 60 media stories on Australia’s biggest networks, including Channel 9, Channel 10, News.com.au, The Courier Mail, and many more.

A standout moment was MAS’s launch of the first private development under the Crisafulli Government’s affordable housing initiative. The Adoni Media team coordinated a media call that brought together key figures from government, development, and architecture. This included Housing Minister Sam O’Connor, Developer Nando Pellicano and Architect Nick Symonds who unveiled the visionary 35-storey tower. The resulting media coverage reached more than 360,000 people and delivered more than $400,000 in media value.

Another highlight was securing a national feature with The Australian, centred on the personal story behind Nick and Lisa Symonds’ family home. Instead of simply showcasing architectural features, we told the story of how their design philosophy was brought to life in their everyday space – complete with a glass-bottom pool skylight. This authentic approach resonated strongly, reaching more than 90,000 people and generating $300,000 in value.

In just 12 months, our partnership with MAS Architecture Studio has delivered more than 60 pieces of published coverage across TV, online, and print news. The combined media value exceeds $1.6 million, with an audience reach of more than 1.3 million Australians. Our efforts have positioned MAS not just as great designers, but as industry experts and thought leaders on the future of Australian housing.
