Adoni Media’s Month in Review: April

Just when we thought March set the bar high, here we are one month (including three short weeks) later to review April. We are proud to report on the success of nine PR campaigns, four media-trained professionals, a handful of crisis communications, and one rural VNR shoot.

Behind each success stands our dedicated team of senior media professionals, who brought their expertise and passion to every media training session and secured impressive top-tier coverage across the board. It’s these moments of reflection that make every tight deadline and much-needed cup of coffee worthwhile.

We thrive on the diversity of our client portfolio – each bringing unique industry insights and stories, and we thank our clients for their continued trust as we share those stories. April saw us championing everything from workers’ rights advocacy to property report launches and impactful road safety initiatives.

The momentum continues to build as we welcome four new clients ready to experience the Adoni Advantage in the coming months. But before looking ahead, let’s celebrate what made April so notable.

    Client highlights

Let’s talk numbers: in April, Adoni Media generated more than $1.2 million in ASR, securing more than 80 stories for our clients, including 50 radio interviews and 12 TV appearances across Australia’s major networks – SBS News, ABC, Channels 7, 9, and 10, as well as News.com.au. While these figures are impressive, it’s our clients who remain at the heart of our agency. Here are a few who trusted us to tell their stories:

    InfoTrack

As part of ongoing PR, InfoTrack sought a campaign to secure media coverage on the findings of the latest Quarterly Property Market Update, targeting national, local, and industry outlets. Through this ongoing PR activation, Adoni Media has successfully positioned InfoTrack executives as ‘go-to’ commentators providing insights on real estate trends and comprehensive property analysis, as well as the latest market research.

In response to April’s release, Lee Bailie, InfoTrack’s Head of Property Australia, delivered four pre-recorded radio segments, two live radio interviews, a Zoom interview, and two live TV studio appearances in just 24 hours. InfoTrack’s expert analysis reached viewers and listeners on Channel 7, Channel 9, ABC, 4BC, and many more networks throughout New South Wales, Queensland, and nationally.

    NTI

Over the Easter Holidays, we launched a campaign with NTI, urging drivers to travel safely on the roads. NTARC’s latest report found crashes caused by insufficient travelling distance (often seen in cars cutting in front of trucks) have surged 73.5% over five years. By timing the findings with a peak road toll and holiday traffic period, we attracted significant media attention. Our campaign reached more than 600,000 people across rural, local, and national media including ABC, Fleet HV News, SEN, and 2CC.

    Link Wentworth

As part of regular PR, we worked with Link Wentworth to commemorate Youth Homelessness Matters Day, drawing attention to the growing demand for the organisation’s critical housing by people aged 24 years and under. It helped to advocate for additional accommodation for one of the largest growing sectors of homelessness in Australia.

We’re proud of our campaign, which touched nearly 500,000 people, generating stories on SBS News, 2GB, Third Sector, and many more outlets.

    Media Training

Four media-trained clients later, and it’s their success stories that truly highlight what makes our approach so effective. As Josh Healy, Senior Manager from NQBP stated: “The process Adoni goes through – practice, discuss, and practice again, allows for rapid learning and helps build muscle memory. The way these sessions are structured, you can come a long way in a very short period.”

Our hands-on, on-camera training methodology consistently builds confidence while providing essential skills and techniques to navigate and excel in media environments. We love watching executives leave our sessions equipped with expert knowledge and newfound confidence.

    Crisis Communications

Our clients rely on our team’s extensive background in senior journalism and corporate communications to develop and execute effective reputation protection strategies when faced with potential threats. In April, Adoni Media delivered comprehensive crisis management plans and immediate communication solutions for a handful of clients across diverse sectors.

    Looking ahead
